Paul J Mauro, is the founder of Legacy Financial Advisors, Inc., and Smart Financial Lifestyles. Paul and his wife, Linda, still manage Legacy Insurance Brokers, LLC, a separate firm providing all forms of insurance products. The Mauro Family, also manage the Smart Financial Lifestyle company, which has just published three books using Paul and Linda's 50 years of financial experience. Smart Financial Grandparenting and Smart Financial Longevity Planning are two of the three books in a series focused on financial advice for different stages of life. Smart Financial Lifestyle is a blend of financial and time management experience gained by over 50 years in business. Linda's experience as a personal trainer, and student of health and behavior studies, has led to the ability of Paul and Linda to blend work with the type of lifestyle that keeps them active with hiking, biking, skiing and other outdoor activities.
Paul Graduated from Northeastern University and later obtained his Financial Consulting Degree from American College in Bryn Mar, PA. Paul and Linda created over 4,000 financial plans from 1974 to 2004 when Paul retired from taking on new financial management clients. They both spent years on Radio with a program called Love and Money, when Boston Business Radio existed.
The original firm Legacy Financial Advisors, Inc., is now run by financial professionals Paul has developed and trained in the last 30 years. He still spends his time mentoring financial advisors and working with his son Nicolas on various investment ventures. Amid building a reputable financial practice, Paul and Linda still made time for their annual long summer vacations with family at their Cattle Ranch in Colorado.
In 2025 they celebrated the marriage of their daughter Bianca to Jonathan West. Bianca runs BRM Production company that produces and manages large scale arts and entertainment events.
